GMC Canyon 2011 is a mid-size pickup with front-wheel or selectable all-wheel drive, built on the General Motors GMT 355 platform. Production of the first generation of the model started in 2004.

The GMC Canyon is produced at General Motors plants in the USA, Thailand, and Brazil.

The 2011 GMC Canyon engine lineup includes three gasoline engines. The 2.9-liter inline-four produces 185 hp and 258 Nm of torque, the 3.7-liter inline-five offers 242 hp and 328 Nm, and the 5.3-liter V8 delivers 300 hp and 434 Nm. The engines can work with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic.

The GMC Canyon is produced at General Motors plants in the USA, Thailand, and Brazil. Its twin brother is also known under the name Chevrolet Colorado.
