Even in the basic configuration, the 2011 GMC Sierra pickup is quite richly equipped, and for an additional fee the equipment can be significantly expanded. In total, a wide variety of Sierra versions are available to order, allowing each potential buyer to easily choose the one that most fully meets his specific requirements for a pickup.

Under the hood, the 2011 GMC Sierra can be equipped with one of the EcoTec3 family engines – a 4.3-liter V6, a 5.3-liter V8, or a 6.2-liter V8, producing 285, 355, and 420 hp respectively (413, 519, and 1037 Nm of torque). The engines work in tandem with a 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission. At the same time, the most powerful version of the pickup, the Denali, is equipped with a 6.6-liter turbo diesel V8 with 397 hp and 765 Nm of torque. With such a “heart,” the pickup weighing more than three tons accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds.
