GMC Yukon is an SUV with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive that replaced the Jimmy model in the lineup of the American company. The debut of the first generation of the vehicle took place in 1992, and in 2005 the third generation of the SUV was already presented.

The Yukon is built on the GMT900 platform with independent front suspension and a multi-link rear design, and is essentially nothing more than a rebadged version of the Chevrolet Tahoe. With a wheelbase of 2946 mm, the vehicle stretches in length to more than five meters. Its width exceeds two meters, and the height is around 1900 mm.

There is also an extended version of the Yukon, which is called the Yukon XL. It is built on the GMT932 platform. In this case, the wheelbase is extended to 3302 mm. For Cadillac, the equivalent vehicle is called the Escalade. Accordingly, the overall dimensions of the SUV are also increased. Its length, for example, is 5649 mm.

Production of the Yukon is established at General Motors plants in the USA.
