From a technical point of view, there were no changes with the 2017 GMC Sierra. It is still built on a platform with independent front suspension and asymmetric leaf springs at the rear. And still this vehicle possesses good handling, driving comfort, and extraordinary off-road capabilities.

Under the hood of the 2017 GMC Sierra can be installed one of the EcoTec3 family engines – a 4.3-liter V6, a 5.3-liter V8, or a 6.2-liter V8, producing 285, 355, and 420 hp, respectively (413, 519, and 1037 Nm of torque). The engines work in tandem with a 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission.

At the same time, the most powerful version of the pickup, Denali, is equipped with a 6.6-liter turbo diesel V8 with 397 hp and 765 Nm of torque. With such a “heart,” the pickup weighing more than three tons accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds.
