2017 GMC Sierra Denali is built on the same platform as its pre-facelift version – with an independent front suspension and asymmetric leaf springs at the rear. The manufacturer did not report any modifications or upgrades to the chassis. Apparently, the Americans did not offer anything new in this regard.

The GMC Sierra Crew Cab is powered by one of the EcoTec3 family gasoline engines – a 4.3-liter V6, a 5.3-liter V8, or a 6.2-liter V8, producing 285, 355, and 402 hp respectively (413, 519, and 1037 Nm of torque). The engines work in tandem with a 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission.

At the same time, the most powerful version of the pickup, the Denali, is equipped with a 6.6-liter turbo diesel V8 with 397 hp and 765 Nm of torque. With such a “heart,” the pickup weighing more than three tons accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds.
