With the update, 2023 GMC Sierra also became a more off-road pickup. Thus, to the already existing AT4 version, the AT4X modification with a modified suspension was added.

From the engine lineup, the “sacred” V8 engines for Americans were not excluded: 5.3 (360 hp 519 Nm) and 6.2 (426 hp 623 Nm). But, they got rid of the “stuffy” V6, while keeping the American “turbo milk pack” (2.7) with 314 hp and torque increased by 20% (569 Nm).

To the joy of the “tractor drivers,” the 3-liter turbodiesel (281 hp 623 Nm) also remained untouched. By the way, such a pickup is now capable of towing not 4.2 tons, but all 6 (!) tons!

All engines can work in tandem with a 10-speed “automatic” jointly developed by GM and Ford. Some modifications will still be equipped with an 8-speed torque converter.
