In addition, a ten-speed automatic transmission is now standard (previously a six-speed automatic). The all-wheel drive system has also been upgraded, with an electronically locking differential available as an option. Passive dampers are standard, but AT4 and Denali versions come from the factory with Magnetic Ride Control adaptive dampers. For an additional cost, the Air Ride Adaptive Suspension is available, capable of varying the SUV’s ground clearance by 100 mm.

Many changes have also taken place in the Yukon’s interior. The instrument panel received an enlarged central display, which replaced four auxiliary gauges. Instead of a shift lever, buttons are now located on the front panel. A 10.4-inch touchscreen display rises above the dashboard, instead of being integrated into it as before. Worth special mention is the huge console armrest, which can optionally be equipped with an electric drive (moving horizontally by 254 mm).

The second row can be either a two-seat configuration (captain’s chairs) or a three-seat bench. The third row is exclusively three-seat. Both rows can be folded electrically (optionally), while the second row features manual fore-aft and backrest recline adjustments. When the seats are folded, a flat load floor is formed, and the compartment volume reaches a massive 3480 liters.
